Profile
He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Information Systems & Decision Science) from Louisiana State University. He previously served in the School of Business Administration at the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), and currently teaches Media Management, Media Technology, and Data Mining at the School of Media & Communication at Korea University. He served as the editor-in-chief of the journal <Information Society & Media> and the vice-president of the Korean Media Management Association, and is currently the vice-president of the Korean Association for Information Society.
Main research area
His current research interests include social representations of information privacy in the pandemic age, users’ response to AI’s voice attributes, and exploration of the webtoon ecosystem.
